Wild Moon was in pursuit of a fresh and contemporary label design that would encapsulate their new Welsh Witch brand’s spirit and their ambition to become an award-winning distillery. They desired labels that would reflect not just the product within, but also the story, soul, and passion of the artisans who breathe life into each spirit.
We were delighted to embark on a collaboration with the award-winning Wild Moon Distillers. Nestled in the lush landscapes of Wales, UK, this distillery is celebrated for its exquisite range of premium craft spirits. Inspired by the untamed and mystical allure of the moon, they craft spirits that infuse the enchantment of the night into every drop.

Our Approach
We immersed ourselves in the Welsh Witch narrative, drawing inspiration from their devotion to traditional craftsmanship, their unwavering reverence for nature’s raw beauty, and their ambition as a startup distillery. The outcome was a collection of label designs, each unique yet unified under the Welsh Witch identity.
For the gin range, we adopted a vibrant, botanical-themed design, intertwined with a Celtic theme to reflect the rich heritage of the brand. This design mirrors the diversity and depth of the natural ingredients used in the gin. The rum label, conversely, adopted a more enigmatic and alluring tone, with deep hues and a touch of the moon’s mysterious radiance, encapsulating the spirit’s profound complexity.
The Result
Our collaborative journey with Wild Moon resulted in label designs that are as distinctive and full of character as the spirits they represent. Each label tells a story of tradition, craftsmanship, and the wild heart of the moon – truly reflecting Wild Moon Distillers’ ethos, passion, and ambition.
The response from Wild Moon and their customers was overwhelmingly positive. The labels have since played a crucial role in enhancing brand identity and product appeal, contributing significantly to the distillery’s burgeoning success in the spirits market.
This success was later recognised as Wild Moon Distillers became an award-winning distillery.
